Christmas Bazaar 2018

FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2018-2019 PREPARATION FOR THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BAZAAR WILL BEGIN IN EARLY OCTOBER.  FRIENDS OF POWELL BUTTE SCHOOL WILL BE ASSISTING THE STUDENTS WITH SOME VERY NICE PROJECTS TO BE SOLD AT THE BAZAAR.
ALWAYS HELD THE DAY OF THE SCHOOL PROGRAM!

The class projects k-5th grade are finished.  6th, 7th and 8th will be doing the food items.
Note--this year some really nice items have been donated for the bazaar!
Please be thinking about the 300 dozen cookies needed for the Cookie Buffet!

The Christmas Bazaar began 9 years ago when we were doing fundraising to pay back the $100,000 loan.  It was such a big success and a fun time for the community that we have made it an annual event held always on the day of the PBCCS Christmas program being open from 8:00 a.m. and ends after the evening program.  This is a fun event and an excellent fundraiser for the lunch program.

Each class will make and sell items along with others joining in with their donation items.

We have a Cookie Buffet.  We set up a long group of tables presenting all the types of cookies.  One can select the cookies they wish toimages9TTL3KWM create their bakers dozen (13) for $5.00.  We will need lots of homemade cookies for the buffet as it has become more popular each year.

We will need lots of baked goods, candies and craft items to sell.  Please ask images1151ETQFyour family and friends to donate their baking and crafty talents.

Parents, teachers, community, please come and enjoy the Christmas Bazaar day with Friends of Powell Butte School, the 501(c)3 non-profit that provides the healthy lunch program for the students of PBCCS.  The lunch program receives no government funding, is not in the school budget and operates soley on the income from the lunches and two fundraisers each year.  The Christmas Bazaar is one of the fundraisers and we rely on the community and parents to make it a huge success.

Watch for the current date of our annual Yule Log Party!
